The Kids Halloween Treat Bags

Well this year my guys have been really into halloween and when I showed them the latest competition from La-La Land Crafts for Kids  they were so excited and couldnt wait to get started making their own special trick or treat bag!

Bethaney (4 years old) made this lovely red bag - she decorated all by herself (I helped out when using the bigshot) and coloured in and cut out witch Marci - she was very proud of her bag.

Harrison (4 years also) is so into Halloween and skulls and skeletons - anything of that nature really and we get his undivided attention.  He sat still for over  an hour making his treat bag and again did all the decorating himself!  Of course he wanted to use skeleton Luka and was very proud of himself using more than one colour on his image!    Here is his bag:

Dont forget to pop over to La-La Land Craft for Kids to check out all the gorgeous creations the kids have made!!!

Glittering Tilda - Box in a bag

I made this gorgeous little box in a bag yesterday - perfect for a Christmas gift for a teacher filled with yummy chocolates.  I am entering this into the Just Magnolia challenge this month which is Pink for Breast Cancer awareness.  Loads of beautiful entries over there so pop on over and have a look :) Here is a closer look at the colouring. Will also be entering into the Magnolia Down Under Challenge with the get punchy theme this month.

I am really happy with how my blending and defining colours is coming along.  And I am getting so much better colouring my whites!!!  i used to avoid having white on my images if I could help it as it just looked so wrong!!!  But its really improving lately :)

Thanks for stopping by :)

Ice Tilda

Ok so this is very new for me - a huge step!!!  I am entering my first ever challenge!!!!!  YAH :) I am so excited.  I used one of my favorites from the new Sweet Christmas Collection.  The theme for the challenge was a Maggie Christmas Card in Red and Brown or Pink and Brown or Red, Pink and Brown.  I have gone with red and brown.

Still a very simple design but I love it.

The challenge itself is brand new also - pop over and check out all the gorgeous entries so far
Maggie Lovers Challenge - so much inspiration!!!  The prize for this challenge is the most adorable new Tilda - isnt she irresistible!!!  Only available through Shopbron!!!!

Halloween Tilda

Well I really wanted to get into Halloween a little this year and didnt own any Halloween stamps!!!  So I compromised and coloured my scarecrow Maggie and decorated halloween style!!!

I used the feathering technique on Tilda's dress and was very pleased with the results - thought my colour choice gave her a bit of a spooky look :)  and I just knew my spider and bat die would come in useful one day!!!  Here is a closer look at the feathering:

I just have to show you the inside of the card also - I just love the spider and bat!!!!

Thanks for looking :)

Pondering Tilda

I love this card, it was my first attempt at masking and I was very happy with the outcome.  My blending is improving with every image.  This was also the first time I have used the Wild Orchard flowers and I must admit I am now in love with them!  They would have to be the best quality flowers I have ever used.
Here is the image a little closer to show some detail

Thanks for looking :)

Winning Maggie

This is the fathers day card i made for my husband.  I LOVE my Maggie stamps and so wish I could spend all day colouring them!!!

Christmas Maggie

My first ever attempt at a Maggie Christmas Card - or any copic coloured Christmas card actually!  Fairly simple but I am still happy with the end result.

Cowboy Luka

This is my latest creation.  I love cowboy Luka - so verstille for all ages :).  Im still trying to get out of my comfort zone with the simple cards and make them a bit more detailed.  Not quite there but getting there - although I do find it more difficult with male cards to do this!!!
